Experience the fun of picking Cromwell cherries in the shade of our cherry orchard. We will be there to teach you how to harvest cherries and provide the buckets. Toilet facilities and a shady rest area is also provided, as well as free of street parking.
Cherry picking is great fun for everyone. It’s a country romance feel with photo opportunities to remember your summer by. Kids love to get involved and it is such a fun activity to share.
If you can’t get to our farm then you can order cherries online from our website. We ship Mon-Weds each week around NZ.
Cromwell Cherry Orchard
Our cherry orchard is located on 422 Ripponvale Road just out of the Cromwell township in Central Otago. We are open every day for picking until the season ends in late January. We will post the closing date on this website.
It is free to pick cherries – you just pay for what you pick! There is a minimum purchase of $18 (1kg) per person picking. Everyone is welcome for this favourite summertime activity.
Our Cherries
We grow delicious sweet New Zealand cherries which are available to pick yourself. When you arrive we will show you the rows to pick and the best way to pick cherries so that you do not damage next year’s crop.
Then you are free to harvest the cherries you will take home with you. You pay by the kg and can pick as much as you would like (minimum purchase $18). A packing service is also available on request.
