Our orchard fresh Central Otago cherries are available from Late Dec – Feb each year. You can turn up at the farm gate to Pick Your Own or order online through our website.
Our Cromwell Market Garden produces seasonal seedlings, flowers, plants and produce which we supply from our farm to local farmers markets – Remarkables Market on Saturdays. And (because that’s not enough) we open the farm each Thursday between Late August and April for direct sales.
Cherry Tree Farm was featured on TVNZ’s Country Calendar in April 2023. In this episode Peter & Sharon showed the work that goes into running an urban farm. Carol King29/03/2023Good afternoon Peter and Sharon. Last Sunday evening I watched Country Calendar and was thrilled to see how far you have both come along with your boys. I remember when I used to baby sit for you both and Evandale nursery had just been new challenge to your lives. You are both a shining example of how hard work, passion and forward planning have contributed to the success that you are enjoying now. Next time I am in Cromwell I will be calling into visit you both. My husband Alan died suddenly almost five years ago. I still own Framed on Windsor which Alan and I started up almost 20 years ago. It too has been and is successful. Alana now manages it and is doing an awesome job. She shares the passion that Alan once did. Sandra18/01/2023We were the first customers of the day in the early morning. The owner was very kind and friendly and we were able to pick high-quality cherries that were large and juicy. A great experience overall, and worth visiting again.
Celeste Stella14/01/2023I’m surprised that this place wasn’t busy at all but had the most amazing cherries I’ve ever seen. I usually find myself going to the more popular cherry store further down the road but I’m so glad I stopped here instead. Much bigger and redder cherries that were easy to access and such lovely customer service from the lady who served us too. I will be coming back here from now on!
